1911 – production of already 40 different ball bearing constructions
1916 – the production of metal components for a “stable construction kit” has been expanded.
This was the beginning of toy production 50th Anniversary – MARKES introduces revolutionary plastic molding technology.
1982 – MARKES ceases production of toys as sales fall to less than 7%.
Today, MARKES, with 50 employees, produces more than 20 million bearings per year, as well as conveyor equipment accessories, seals and presses, and plastic parts.
