Need a precision machine component that meets your exact specifications? RPU represents a whole new level of customization from ROSTA. By leveraging advances in material science, modern manufacturing techniques and our decades of expertise, ROSTA can engineer and produce a completely bespoke torsion spring based solution.

A rigid material forms the outer and inner sections, while a second flexible polymer material provides connecting elasticity. The degree of relative movement of the inner and outer sections can be determined by the constructions design, geometry and choice of flexible polymer. Physical limits and performance, including spring rate and damping co-efficient can be precisely engineered.

Like the traditional ROSTA Element, the RPU is a torsional spring with inherent damping. RPU can act as a pivot bearing and provide vibration isolation, it can exert or resist a force, absorb kinetic energy and control or guide oscillating motion.

Following initial prototyping, your testing and acceptance, ROSTA will manufacture and supply the component according to your exact specifications.
