Elesa+Ganter range presents a wide variety of handles: bridge handles, arch and finger handles, folding handles, ledge and safety handles, flush pull handles and tubular handles.

Design, ergonomics and the possibility of customisation allow them to meet the requirements of the most diverse industrial sectors and are particularly suitable for the food, office furniture, fitness and medical markets too.

This category includes handles with an electrical switch and button, as well as with an LED indicator. These handles, in addition to their main function, perform a signaling, protective function. With the appropriate electrical connection, it is possible to configure the colour of the LED strip to indicate the status of the guard (IEC 60204-1).

Example:

  • red: immediate action required to address a hazardous situation;
  • green: normal operational conditions;
  • yellow: wait, machinery shutting down or in a transitional phase;
  • blue: operator has made operation request (example: pressing key).

U-shaped handles are one of the most versatile and convenient solutions for both industrial and everyday applications. Due to their ergonomic shape, they ensure a secure grip, stable handling and comfortable control even when the operator is working with gloves or in intensive environments. These handles are highly valued for their simplicity, durability and reliability, and are therefore used in various mechanisms, doors, covers and industrial systems.

Why are U-shaped handles so popular?

First of all, because their design is extremely versatile. U-shaped handles are suitable for both light and heavy doors, equipment covers, drawers or cabinets. Thanks to their robust structure, they withstand frequent use and higher loads, making them a reliable solution for industrial workplaces. In addition, their shape allows for a comfortable grip from any angle – which is important when quick and precise opening of equipment is required.

Advantages of using U-shaped handles in industry

In the industry, strength and wear resistance are particularly appreciated. U-shaped handles can be made of stainless steel, aluminum or technopolymer, so they are not afraid of corrosion, moisture or more aggressive environments. Such a design not only extends their service life, but also allows them to be safely used in the food, chemical or pharmaceutical sectors, where hygiene and resistance are paramount.

Ergonomics and work productivity

Operators need to be able to control the equipment quickly and effortlessly. The U-shaped handles provide a natural grip, reduce hand fatigue and allow for more efficient work. This is a solution that directly contributes to productivity, especially when the equipment is used multiple times a day.
