Delta Robot Mechanics Autonox

Delta robots are designed to operate at high speeds and perform repetitive tasks quickly and accurately. These robots can replace manual processes that require lifting, sorting and positioning products. Delta robots are used not only to improve process consistency and quality, where repetitive motions ultimately cause worker fatigue, but also to eliminate the problem of repetitive motion injuries.

TECHVITAS together with Autonox Robotics will offer you the most suitable solution!

A great solution for using these robots to pick and/or collect light loads and/or small items. Due to its delicate functionality, this robot is more precise and consistent than the human hand. It is often used in the food, pharmaceutical and electronics industries.

When a small payload and very fast cycle times are required, whether it is picking, transferring, delivering or other operations, this is not a challenge for a delta robot.

Delta robots were originally designed for small-scale loads, such as packaging. That is why they are popular in the food industry, where they are used to sort and pack everything from small chocolates to frozen fish sticks. Cosmetic and pharmaceutical manufacturers have also installed many delta-type robots in their production lines.

In addition to packaging, manufacturers find that delta robots are ideal for a variety of assembly tasks, such as dispensing glue, labeling packages, inserting parts, driving screws and soldering. Delta robots are used to manufacture batteries, electrical switches, electronics, medical devices, pens, semiconductor devices, solar panels and other products.

Autonox divides its products into two main and clear groups:

  • for primary packaging – where mechanisms that meet hygiene standards for contact with the product are required;
  • for secondary packaging – robots made of carbon fiber, lifting a small weight.

Parallel kinematic robots are not dependent on a single, specific controller. This means that the robots can be controlled by the controller of your choice. The robots are delivered already with adapted gearbox connection flanges for the servo motors of your choice.

The main advantages of DELTA and DuoPod robots:

  • the optimal ratio of moving mass to payload results in both maximum dynamics and very high precision;
  • excellent energy efficiency due to the robust housing;
  • minimal maintenance;
  • compact design;
  • top mounting saves floor space.

Advantages of hygienic design:

  • only standard materials are used;
  • limited surface temperature in the drive area;
  • no joints, edges or gaps;
  • can be cleaned using common processes (high-pressure equipment up to 28 bar) and chemicals;
  • air supply hoses and cables for the grippers are mounted in the robot housing;
  • high efficiency.
