Sankyo guide prisms

The sliding wear prisms is designed with through-holes at the top, spaced apart by connection holes, which are embedded with graphite strips. An adhesive is fixed between the graphite strips and the through–holes. Around the perimeter of the through–holes, a recessed groove is set into the surface of the plate. Both the top and bottom surfaces of the sliding surfices are equipped with a wear–resistant layer, and both sides have a fixed connection layer. The recessed grooves in this brass material  not only increase the contact area between the grinding machinery and the graphite powder, enhancing lubrication, but also capture graphite powder produced by friction, reducing its loss and minimizing dust pollution. This improves the usability of the graphite powder, making the quide suitable for heavy load.
