LXRC radar sensor with IO Link: accurate, reliable, and easy to use
The LXRC radar level sensors from SICK ensure continuous measurement of liquids and bulk materials in both standard and hygienic environments. Using a highly focused 80 GHz radar signal, they provide precise measurement up to 15 m without any dead zones, ensuring reliable and accurate process monitoring.
Thanks to their compact design and non‑contact measuring technology, LXRC sensors are easy to install even in confined spaces and require no calibration before commissioning. Parameters can be configured via a mobile device app or SOPAS ET. Integrated IO‑Link and optional WPAN support allow seamless integration into modern production systems, while the 360° color status indicator clearly shows the sensor’s operational status even from a distance.
Benefits:
- continuous fill level values for smooth processes;
- easy installation even in tight spaces thanks to compact design;
- flexible use in a variety of tank sizes and designs – with no dead zones over the entire measuring distance;
- Plug&Play: commissioning without calibration;
- uncomplicated parameterization via PC, tablet or smartphone via IO–Link or Bluetooth;
- universal solution for almost all liquids and bulk materials, impervious to dust, vapor and vacuum;
- simple diagnostics: status information via a 4–20 mA IO–Link output and via Bluetooth on mobile devices;
- maintenance–free operation thanks to non–contact measuring method.
Features:
- free-space radar sensor with 80 GHz and ±2 mm accuracy;
- measuring range: 0 to 15 m;
