The MBT torque motors are water-cooled kit motors that have been optimized for high torques of up to 13,800 Nm. They consist of a stator (MST) with three-phase winding and a rotor (MRT) with permanent magnets. Typical areas of operation for these motors are direct drives, such as in rotary tables, swivel axes of machining centers or print works. But they also open up new solutions for innovative mechanical engineering when used in robots, lathes, and plastic, woodworking, and special machines.
